Diploma in Accounting (DIA)  
Objectives
 
IBS offers Diploma in Business (Accounting) (DIA) of University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), as a Study Centre. On completion of the DIA, students will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and understanding to perform most of the Accounting functions needed in a business. Successful candidates will be eligible to receive a UPNG Diploma Award, which would allow them to follow a two-year Degree programme at UPNG leading to a Bachelor of Accounting Degree.

Registration
 
Registration is possible twice a year before the beginning of each semester. Full time students can take up to four subjects in each semester, which will enable completion of the course in two years. Part time students may take two subjects a semester and complete the course in four years. Students must register by the last working day prior to the date of commencement. Please check our advertisement in the National/ Post Courier for the exact date of commencement.
