| The Magic of Well – Knit Teams |
| |
 |
Teams are fast becoming the primary means for organizing work in today's business organizations. Sixty eight percent (68%) of Fortune 1000 companies use Self-Management teams and more companies are now taking to the Team concept. Teams are a recipe for superlative performance. |
 | Think of what Japan achieved through teamwork. | | Excellent Quality |
| | High Productivity |
| | Global supremacy in several product categories |
| | Now, USA, a highly individualistic society, has accepted the Team concept. See the impressive list of reputed American Companies that have imbibed the team concept – General Electric, AT&T, Motorola, 3M, Texas Investment, Hewlett Packard, Johnson & Johnson etc. Eighty two percent (82%) of companies in USA with 100 or more employees now use teams. | | Dedicated teams can bring about impressive and unimaginable results through their Synergistic effect 1 + 1 = > 2. | | Haven’t we seen, time and again, how well-knit, highly motivated teams compromising very ordinary players have out-performed a collection of brilliant players who are not passionate about the common end to be achieved. We have seen this often on the playing field. Why can’t we take this example to our workplace and build teams for the betterment of our organizations and of society? | |
