Commencement of Southern Cross University Degree Program

The semester has started off well with new and continuing students enrolled for these semester. Lecturers and staffs are back on their feet ensuring that all student matters are attended to. It’s great to have the student’s back on campus.

First Level Management Course

This Front Line Management Course was very successful which managers from different organization at tended at the IBS Campus. The course intended for those who are currently involved in or about to take over a supervisory position and all those who are interested in supervisory skills. The course greatly helped Small business owners and managers.

The objective of the workshop was:

* To provide supervisors with the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviors to increase their effectiveness in their current roles.
* To equip supervisors with the managerial skills necessary for them to adapt to changing demands in the future.
* To improve succession planning by providing a structured development program which will enable supervisors to fulfill their potential within the company?

The Content of the consist of the following:

* Managing Activities
* Managing People
* Managing Resources
* Managing Information

Director and Staff Trip to Mt. Wilhelm

The trip to Mt. Wilhelm was rewarding for our Director and few of the Staff members. It was very challenging experience with altitude problem, despite the difficulties the team members were on a mission to reach the top. Very emotional feeling knowing that you have done something out of the ordinary. Well Done Director & Team. Mt. Wilhelm Team consists of Director Mr. Mick Nades, Nathan Nades, Marama Kela, Wendy Pate Helai Oala and Edward Kassman.
