Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
About this Course
The Bachelor of Information Technology offers a complete grounding in all aspects of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industries including programming, systems analysis and design, multimedia development and usage, database development, networking and communications theory, computer security and technology management.
Students also have the opportunity to study some of the issues confronting the ICT industry, including employer obligations, employee rights, impacts on society, and future directions of the industry. This course is offered face to face at the Institute of Business Studies under an Educational Collaboration Agreement with Southern Cross University, Australia.

Entry Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent or,
Grade 10 with Certificate in Computing of IBS or,
Equivalent to the above
Registration
Registration is open all year round for February and June intake.
Further Studies
Postgraduate studies i.e. Master degree programmes.
Accommodation
IBS provides minimum accommodation on campus and space is guaranteed upon payment for the full accommodation fee. There are separate blocks for female and male students.
