Application Requirements
Certificate Course Requirements
The general admission requirement for all certificate courses at Institute of Business Studies (IBS) is the successful completion of one of the following:
- A High School Grade 10 Certificate
- IBS CIA-1 or CCA with Grade 10
- Completed matriculation studies
- Three (3) years relevant work experience either in Accounting or Computing
Undergraduate Courses Requirements
The general admission requirement for all undergraduate courses at Institute of Business Studies (IBS) is the successful completion of one of the following:
- A High School Grade 12 Certificate
- Full IBS Certificate award with Grade 10
- All of part of an approved university degree at a satisfactory level
- Completed matriculation studies
Advanced standing for previous university studies is granted at the discretion of the institute. Applicants seeking advanced standing should provide subject outlines of units applicable complete with assessment methods.
Applicants who do not meet necessary entry requirement may enroll in our Certificate courses. The certificate courses have been designed to provide students with a basic knowledge in Accounting, Business and Information Technology.
