IBS Diploma in Business
After completing my Grade 12 in 2001, I was not able to secure a placing at any of our tertiary institutions. Looking for an opportunity to further my education, I chose the Institute of Business Studies (IBS) in 2002, and followed the Diploma in Business (DIB) program with support from my parents. Due to financial constraints, I was only able to study as a part time student therefore, taking me three years to complete the course.
As with all IBS students, I was always guided to achieve better in studies and through hard work and commitment, I was awarded the Best Performance Award when I graduated in 2006, amongst the Diploma in Business (DIB) graduates. Upon completion of the course, I was fortunate enough to be given a chance for job training with the PNG Education Institute, through the IBS Career Centre. In addition, through the IBS Career Centre, I found employment with Comrade Trustee Services Ltd.
Punctuality and commitment are traits that are highly regarded and is something I’d like to maintain. What I’ve learnt at IBS has been a bonus for me practically in my new work environment, as these two things were always advised to everyone in every class.
IBS has been a blessing to me together with my trust in God Almighty to enlighten my career path and in which I’ve found success and I look forward to continuing my studies at IBS in the near future.
Therefore I’d like to recommend IBS to those who are finding ways to further their career path. Choose IBS and experience the privileges and opportunities offered by IBS and you could be a success just like many others who have passed out of IBS.
May God Bless IBS!
