IBS Diploma in Business

After I completed my Grade 10, I didn’t get an offer to advance my studies. However, I took up studies Commercial Training College and then worked with DALF in Western Province for some time. I wanted to better my qualifications by furthering my studies in the Accounting field. After collecting information from various institutions, I chose IBS and enrolled into the UPNG Diploma in Commerce at IBS, but then I changed my mind and enrolled in the Diploma in Business programme. I have never looked back since.

After graduating, the IBS Innovation and Development team helped me to find employment. Soon enough, I was called for an interview and started working right-away, and I have been there since; Comrade Trustee Services Ltd. What I have studied at IBS has helped prepare me for the workplace, especially in the Accounts section. This includes time management, approach towards work, problem solving and being vest with accounting. Because of my performance at work, I was recommended for full time employment. Currently I am studying part-time in the Advanced Diploma in Business – Accounting program, and I still have this drive in me to complete this course, as it will be very beneficial for me, my company and my family.
