Being a grade 12 school leaver in 2001, I chose IBS as my first choice of tertiary education to further my education qualifications for a rewarding career.

As I had not made up my mind in which field I wanted to specialize in, I studied both the certificate courses in Accounting and Computing. In 2003 I graduated with a Certificate in Accounting (CIA) and a Certificate in Computing with the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL). It was in 2003 that I decided computing was the field I wanted to be in so I enrolled in the Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) course. In 2005, I graduated with my DIT.

For any grade 10 or 12 leavers who want to further their educational studies, I encourage you to choose IBS as the ideal educational institution to achieve your career. I am where I am today because of the qualified lecturers & support staff who were very supportive and the conducive learning environment was an added bonus. For working people who want to further their careers or improve their career opportunities, choose IBS now as your rewarding place of study.

Because of the high level of education I have received from IBS, I now have a rewarding career with Telikom PNG Limited Islands Region. Last year 2010 I was selected as one of the 25 change agents from the Islands Region. Change is here and we need to be part of the change to advance our careers and also bring the company we work for, forward.
