Studying an Australian degree on-shore at IBS has given me the utmost privilege; the privilege of graduating with a world-class degree! I would like to thank IBS for giving the opportunity to me and my fellow graduates of 2010. This degree has opened our doors to many employment opportunities both locally and abroad. More importantly studying at IBS gave me automatic Associate Membership with CPA-Australia. With this membership, I am now privileged to be attending the 2011 CPA Career Expo in Brisbane in May.
During the three years of study at the Institute of Business Studies, I found the study environment to be very conducive and the atmosphere to be very satisfying. There were some challenges over the years, but I made every effort and used every opportunity to overcome them. In terms of the resources and materials, the learning references and library books available are of ‘world class standard’. I recommend you go to IBS for your studies. The resources and the references you find at the library may not be found in any other institutions. The Library has the latest editions of text and reference books. Regardless of the size and location of the Institution, IBS strives to unleash your potential as a student and as an individual.
The lecturers guidance and help was very helpful indeed. Most times, they had to put up with last minutes assignments and projects. At times, you would think they were “walking-textbooks”, but they were just people giving their best service. I greatly appreciate what the Academic staff have done for me as a student. The nerve wrecking class presentations has given me the confidence to easily talk with my superiors without having to shy away; it is surely paying off.
Last but not the least; the Support Staff were very helpfully indeed, because at IBS, they believe that ‘Customers are the most Valuable Asset of an organization’. The different support service teams were very helpful; I found them to be very friendly. They always have and always will strive to do their very best to provide students and graduates the best of their services. They also play a very important role to help all their graduates secure full employment after IBS, and all credit goes back to everyone at IBS.
Therefore, I would like to thank everyone; the Academic, Support as well as the Ancillary staff for making my studies at IBS a memorable one. To everyone out there, getting a place at the well known higher learning institutions in PNG is not always the answer. So if you’ve missed out on that shortlist, IBS is at your doorstep. Because at IBS……THEY SURELY WILL TRANSFORM GRADE 10 AND 12 SCHOOL LEAVERS INTO DEGREE HOLDERS, so what are you waiting for?
