I know without doubt that studying here at the Institute of Business Studies (IBS) has groomed and prepared me thoroughly for the workforce. It allowed me to acquire an international degree without having to leave the comfort of home and my family.

The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives. ~Robert Maynard Hutchins ~. The degree that I have received here at IBS will provide me with the opportunity to continue to venture, to test my boundaries and always challenge myself to keep learning. The knowledge and skills that I have acquired here will remain ingrained in me for a lifetime.

I studied elsewhere before coming to IBS and I would say that the service I received here is beyond reproach. Furthermore, I am also grateful because I know that the quality of education I received here is second to none.

The three years spent here have been a whirlwind of emotions not only for me but also for my fellow course mates. All the group studies, sitting at the hall sharing our lunch while crunching numbers, the late nights and staggering to class with a hot cup of coffee in hand – it was all worth it. These are precious memories that I would not trade for anything and have helped to mould me to become a better person. I am and always will be a proud ambassador for IBS.

The facilities as well as amenities here are excellent. There are computer laboratories here that ensure that we all have a place to research and type our assignments. The study materials used here are constantly upgraded to match current international industry practices so the quality is always up to par.

The learning environment here is excellent! The students and lecturers form a relationship that speaks for itself. There is that mutual understanding that if I need help all I have to do is ask. I have nothing but praise and commendation for the teaching faculty and everyone that had a hand one way or the other in ensuring that I made it this far.

I honestly could not have done it without the help and support of everyone here at IBS, my family and above all the Lord. My achievement is theirs as much as it is mine. It was all of us coming together, sharing together, working together and succeeding together.

My many thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Team IBS and to Mr. Mick Nades (Director for IBS) for providing an Institution that provides an opportunity for young Papua New Guineans such as myself to acquire an internationally recognized education and ultimately a Degree that truly equips us to go into the world and succeed.

An investment made in the name of education whether it be time or money is one that you will never regret. For those still studying; continue to pursue your dreams and never stop challenging yourself to go that extra mile!
