Quality Assurance
As stated in the mission, IBS attaches utmost importance to the quality of its services. The Quality Assurance Division headed by the Director, monitors and ensures adherence to the established standards of all services of the Institute
The Quality Assurance Division undertakes the following activities:
Student Feedback
Student feedback is taken from every student to evaluate teaching methods and to get suggestions for improvement where necessary and appropriate.

Industry Feedback
In order to evaluate the academic courses in terms of industry requirements, IBS conducts a Sponsors' Day every year where sponsoring organisations freely interact and provide feedback on the academic courses. IBS also provides regular information to the industry through its monthly Gazette.

Audit Marking
Assignments, tests, written examinations, practical skill tests are conducted throughout the course for student skill evaluation and eligible students are finally given graduation certificates at the Annual Graduation ceremony. In order to ensure examiners' consistency in such activities, audit marking is conducted randomly.

Performance Evaluation
The quality of performance of all the staff members is reviewed every six months through a carefully designed performance evaluation system. This ensures quality service to all students and sponsors at all times.

Internal Control
The operational activities and procedures of the finance and administration divisions are subject to continuous monitoring through an internal control procedure which helps in ensuring timely services to all the stakeholders.

The quality of service offered by the institute is monitored at the stages of admission, course delivery, assessment and career guidance through the above parameters and changes are introduced whenever required. In this task, the Quality Assurance division is assisted by a Quality Assurance Committee. The committee meets once a month to discuss quality - related issues and helps the Quality Assurance division in achieving the benchmarks as a team.
