WELCOME MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER/CHANCELLOR

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Institute of Business Studies (IBS) community. The Institute's vision is to be a World Class Educational, Training and Research Institution. In line with this vision, we have employed highly competent staff, both local and expatriate, and entered into educational collaborations with Southern Cross University, University of Papua New Guinea, the Australian Computer Society, and Certified Practising Accountants PNG.

With these affiliations, IBS continues to usher professionals capable of surpassing the challenges our young nation has in an ever changing global economy. IBS has enhanced the opportunities of aspiring Grade 10 and 12 school leavers to obtain Australian Bachelor degree's recognized globally at a lower cost and without leaving our shores. Our affiliation with the Australian Computer Society enables our students to obtain an International Computer Driving License which is recognized worldwide. The Institute has been granted recognition as an Institution of Higher Education by the Office of Higher Education (OHE) under the provisions of the Higher Education Act 1983. The Commission of Higher Education (CHE) granted Institute of Business Studies recognition as an Institution of Higher education on the 25th of July, 2007 (Decision No: 3/2/2007).
